Mark Winsick is an energetic and audience pleasing Buffalo guitarist, singer
and songwriter on the live blues scene. A regular on the Buffalo club scene,
he's also performed at numerous clubs throughout Western New York and Canada.
He fronts his own quartet, the Mark Winsick Band, which plays his original
compositions, as well as traditional blues standards.
Honored
with the 2002 Buffalo Music Award for Best Traditional Blues Band and the
2004 Artvoive Best of Buffalo Award for Blues Band, Winsick's guitar skills
landed him a spot on the Maverick Records release, "Hot Guitars from Buffalo,
Volume One." In addition to his own solo recording, "Straight Up," he was
also asked to lend his talent to a charity compilation called, "Sounds
of Buffalo Blues, Volume One," which will help raise money for cancer research. |
